Greensforge 3 Temporary Camp

Marching or Temporary Camp

This camp lies on the eastern bank of the Smestow Brook about 1,050 feet (320m) to the north of Fort-B. Overlain by the Roman road to Pennocrucium (Water Eaton), its circuit is incompletely recorded. Only the western corner-angle, 560 feet (170m) of the north-west side and 330 feet (100m) of the south-west side are known.
