Lugton Marching Camp

Marching or Temporary Camp

Discovered from the air in 1984 just east of the Elginhaugh fort, this small camp has been severely damaged by quarrying; the original size may only be estimated. There are other camps along the Esk at Eskbank, Dalkeith and Inveresk.
