Cohors Primae Pannoniorum

Not mentioned on any military diplomata the only evidence for this unit being in Britain is an altarstone from Burgh-by-Sands on the western end of Hadrian’s Wall dedicated to Jupiter Best and Greatest, shared with the irregular infantry unit the Numerus Maurorum and dated to the middle of the third century.
