Description: Lying close beside the River Tern just NE of its confluence with the Severn, only the NE corner-angle of this camp is known, together with a length of the N side and a shorter length of the E defences. No estimate can be made of its original dimensions or area covered. Norton Camp-1 lies just 200m to the E and the Ismore Coppice Camp lies a similar distance to the S. The defences of the Roman city of Viroconium/Wroxeter are less than a mile to the SE.

Area: c.13¼ acres (c.5.4 ha)
Description: This camp is located just NE of the confluence of the River Tern with the Severn and is known only from its well-rounded, slightly-obtuse NE corner-angle which lies in a field just NE of the B4380; the recorded sides of the camp each disappear beneath this modern road and cannot be traced on A.P.'s through the trees of Ismore Coppice. A natural scarp above the River Severn to the S of the camp would limit the possible extent in this direction to about 660 feet (200m). Modern field-boundaries to the N of Confluence Cottage seem to be curiously in alignment with the recorded defences, and may have been built directly along the line of the original Roman rampart. If the SW corner-angle has been preserved in the modern boundaries then the camp would have had the approximate dimensions recorded above.
