Traprain Law
Probable Settlement
A single Latin inscription on stone has been recovered during excavations at the Traprain Law hillfort and is recorded in the R.I.B.. The text reads ABCD… (RIB 2131), which may originally have contained all of the letters of the alphabet, perhaps as a teaching tool.
