Another unit recruited from among the many tribes of the Roman province of Raetia, among them the powerful Vindelici, the Estiones, the Licates, the Genauni, the Brigantii, the Venones and the Calucones. Aside from the building inscription found at Great Chesters on Hadrian’s Wall dated to the latter half of the second century, their escapades in Britain are unknown.
