Banstead Villa (Walton-on-hill)
Temple Or Shrine and Villa
The Suspected Circular Temple
The villa complex included a detached round building about 32½ ft. in diameter which may have been a shrine attached to the villa or possibly a garden pavilion. There is a similar situation at the Stroud villa in Hampshire.
There is another Romano-British villa nearby at Walton Heath (TQ2353).
